Nanobubbles injected into water via gas infusion penetrate deeper than existing aeration technologies and do not rely on air hoses or fans. Separation processes
Foam flotation and high leaching are two common separation methods in the mining industry, both rely on air or oxygen to enable the separation of metals from ore.
High leaching
High leaching is an industrial mining process used to extract precious metals, copper, uranium, and other compounds from ore via a series of chemical reactions that absorb specific minerals and then reseparate them after they are split from other soil materials. Oxygen plays a crucial role in enabling these reactions, however, it is a challenge to efficiently deliver oxygen to the leaching process. Our generators deliver a very high transfer of oxygen and thus a more efficient leaching process.
Foam flotation
The foam flotation process separates solid particles based on the differences in physical and surface chemical properties. It is the most efficient and cost-effective method for treating particles within a narrow size range. However, foam flotation of fine and ultrafine mineral particles poses a major technical challenge in the mineral processing field due to the low collision efficiency between bubbles and particles of conventional-sized bubbles.
Regardless of the method, our nanobubble generators add a new form of gas-to-liquid injection to the mining industry that is more efficient than previous methods.
